Trinity Saint David Students' Union is dedicated to supporting the Student Voice. We will ensure that your views are listened to by the University and help campaign for necessary changes.

SABBATICAL OFFICERS/SWYDDOGION SABOTHOL

The Sabbatical Officers are here to support the students’ academic experience. The officers attend a variety of meetings within the university to represent the students’ at University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Each Sabbatical Officer is assigned with a faculty at the beginning of the academic year. This means that an officer from your SU will be in attendance at any of the meetings held by the faculties.

The Students’ Union also has an officer a dedicated Education and Welfare Officer on the Carmarthen and Lampeter campus. These officers can be found in the Students’ Union building during the week and are there to listen about your academic experience. Whether it is something positive about your course? Or a suggestion to improve the academic facilities on campus? Stop by and have a chat!

Mae’r Swyddogion Sabothol yma i gefnogi profiad academaidd y myfyrwyr. Mae’r swyddogion yn mynychu amrywiaeth o gyfarfodydd o fewn y brifysgol I gynrychioli’r myfyrwyr ym Mhrifysgol Cymru Y Drindod Dewi Sant. Neilltuir cyfadran ar gyfer pob Swyddog Sabothol ar ddechrau’r flwyddyn academaidd. Mae hyn yn golygu bydd swyddog o’ch Undeb y Myfyrwyr yn bresennol ymhob cyfarfod o’r cyfadrannau.

Hefyd mae gan Undeb y Myfyrwyr swyddogion ymroddedig Lles ar gampws Caerfyrddin a Llanbed. Gellir dod o hyd i’r swyddogion yma yn adeilad Undeb y Myfyrwyr yn ystod yr wythnos ac meant yno i wrando ar eich profiad academaidd. Naill ai ei fod yn rhywbeth cadarnhaol am eich cwrs neu awgrym ynghlŷn â sut mae gwella cyfleusterau academaidd ar y campws. Dewch i mewn i gael sgwrs! 
   

COURSE REPS/ CYNRYCHIOLWYR CWRS 

A Course Rep’s role is to ensure that students’ opinions are represented and valued. A Course Rep is key person between the Students, the University and the Students’ Union to help make students’ academic experience the best that it can be.

The role of a course rep is to:

*Attend meetings within their school including Staff Student Committee (SSC) meetings where Course Reps can pass on information about what's good, what's not so good and what needs to change - so tell them anything you feel is relevant!

*Introduce themselves to students on their course and to tell them about their role.

*Introduce themselves to staff within their school.

*Speak to students on their course to find out the positives about their course and learn about what areas could be improved.

*Celebrate success! Welcome and congratulate the parts of your course which you find to be brilliant! By communicating this with the University and Students’ Union we can make sure this good practice continues and is rewarded!

Note to students!

Getting involved is really important - if you don't tell your rep about a problem, they can't do anything about it, so make sure you know who your rep is and tell them anything you feel needs telling!

If you are interested in becoming a course rep for the next academic year, keep an eye on the website to see when course rep elections will be taking place.

Rôl y cynrychiolydd cwrs yw sicrhau y cynrychiolir a gwerthfawrogir barn y myfyrwyr. Y Cynrychiolydd Cwrs yw’r person allweddol rhwng y Myfyrwyr, y Brifysgol ac Undeb y Myfyrwyr a chynorthwyo i wneud profiadau academaidd y myfyriwr y gorau a all fod.
Rôl y cynrychiolydd cwrs yw:

• Mynychu cyfarfodydd o fewn eu ysgol gan gynnwys Pwyllgor Staff a Myfyrwyr (SSC yn Saesneg) lle gall Cynrychiolwyr Cwrs drosglwyddo gwybodaeth am beth sy’n dda, beth sydd ddim cystal a beth sydd angen ei newid – felly dywedwch wrthynt am unrhywbeth sy’n berthnasol!

• Cyflwyno eu hunain i fyfyrwyr ar y cwrs a’u hysbysu am eu rôl.

• Cyflwyno eu hunain i’r staff o fewn eu ysgol.

• Siarad â myfyrwyr y cwrs i ddarganfod yr elfennau cadarnhaol ynglŷn â’r cwrs a dysgu pa rannau o’r cwrs sydd angen gwella.

• Dathlu llwyddiant! Croesawu a llongyfarch myfyrwyr ar rannau o’r cwrs sydd yn eich barn chi yn ardderchog! Wrth drosgwyddo hyn i’r Brifysgol ac Undeb y Myfyrwyr fe sicrhewn bod arfer dda yn parhau ac yn cael ei wobrwyo.

Nodyn i fyfyrwyr!

Mae cymryd diddordeb yn bwysig iawn – os na wnewch chi ddweud wrh eich cynrychiolydd am broblem, ni allant wneud dim amdano. Felly gwnewch yn siwr eich bod yn gwybod pwy yw eich cynrychiolydd a dywedwch eich dweud!

Os oes gennych ddiddordeb mewn bod yn gynrychiolydd cwrs am y flwyddyn academaidd nesaf, gwyliwch y wefan i weld pryd mae’r etholiadau am gynrychiolydd cwrs yn cymryd lle.
