As a Union we regularly hear feedback from students that shine a light on problems at the beginning of the academic year, including issues with enrolment, timetables and student finance. As a part of our ongoing commitment, helping to continuously improve your student experiences, we have reported on these issues to the University, which has won a number of commitments over the years from senior managers to improve in this area.
The University have committed to making the enrolment process more accessible and student focused. They have also committed to issuing accurate timetables at least a week before teaching starts at the beginning of each term. Despite these promises, we continue to hear that the process is a challenge for some students, and we want to make sure your experiences continue to be channelled back into the discussions. We want your feedback to continue to be productive and to influence institutional changes.
