Green Travel to Campus

We all know the negative impacts of emissions from vehicles on the environment and those who live in a city feel the effects more than others due to the density and lack of space in cities. Vehicle travel to campus is one of the biggest contributors to UWTSD carbon footprint. Students and staff are encouraged to travel to campus via sustainable modes of transport, either by bus, train, cycling or walking and where possible, car sharing.

Students aged 16-25 and 26-30 can purchase a Railcard and save up to 1/3 a year on rail travel!

If you’re a student who commutes to Swansea, you have an abundance of green travel schemes at your fingertips to travel sustainably. Swansea is the easiest campus to access by most modes of transport due to its location.
