The car parks near the John Richards, Edwin Morris, Roderic Bowen and Carl Lofmark halls have no line indications, with some of the 'spaces' being just the grass that happens to be at the side of the road. This would be fine if it were to be a temporary parking fix, but due to the lack of spaces, that means that there is also a lack of disabled spaces, meaning that disabled drivers or vehicles carrying disabled passengers (i.e. Blue Badge holders) may be unable to park around these premises or struggle to exit/enter their respective vehicle should they find a space.
I therefore propose that the university is lobbied to help ensure that parking is standardised with clear white lines with spaces allocated for people with a 'Blue Badge'
